Hello! A little missive out of the blue from me on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. It’s not yet time for a proper edition of Witness Marks (that goes out on or around the 15th of each month – which will be the day before Encounter’s launch, eek!) – but as you’ll know if you’re a regular reader, I’m still wriggling around a bit and trying to get Substack to fit me properly, a bit like putting on a sports bra, and I’ve got a little bit of book news and some other, slightly random thoughts to share so I thought I’d write a quick post in the spirit of ‘spontaneity’ and ‘not overthinking things’ (lol, it’s like I don’t know myself at all).
